Please pray for the staff of Ridgeons, Nuffield Road, Cambridge as Chris Savage will visit them today.

Pray for Rev Andrew Milton and Chris Savage who will today address the staff at Huntingdonshire District Council on how they would benefit from having a Chaplain.

Pray for Rev Barry Linney, Vicar of Cherry Hinton, as he seeks to extend his ministry into the workplaces in his parishes.

Please pray for the staff of Cambridge Crown Court as they adjust to new staff structures – help them to cope with the changes that may be happening to them personally.

Pray for the Rogationtide farm walk at Conington tomorrow afternoon – 2.30pm from the Church in aid of the Addington Fund – all are welcome to this event.

Please pray for the Congregation of Bluntisham Baptist Church where Chris Savage will be preaching today.  Pray for the Church’s growing links with CPW.

Pray for the Cambridge University Chaplaincy Development Group as they meet tomorrow to further the work of the Chaplaincy.

Pray for the AGM of the East of England Agricultural Society that is being held today.

Please pray for the Huntingdon and Godmanchester Town Chaplaincy group who meet with local Chaplains today.

Pray for the Breakfast Briefing meeting that meets at Hotel Felix, Cambridge this morning.  Pray for all organising networking groups.

Pray for the players of Cambridge United football team who will find themselves without a contract at the end of the season, especially those with family commitments – Pray for Stuart Wood as he seeks to help them

Please pray for Rev Dr John Hughes as he leads a Chaplaincy to People at Work seminar on Christian Ethics in a time of crisis.

Give thanks for Linton Free Church where Chris Savage will preach this morning.  They have supported CPW well in the past – pray that their support will continue in the future.

Give thanks for the work of the St John’s Innovation Centre and the opportunities it gives for its tenants.

Pray for David Gill and his team.

Please pray for the Cambridge Retail and Commercial association that meet this morning, particularly for those who are feeling the negative effects of the recession.

Pray for the Chaplaincy to People at Work Trustees meeting this evening – as they have some very important decisions to make at that meeting.

Give thanks for the care that Swiss Laundry gives to its employees and customers – also for the welcome that Chris Savage receives when he visits.

Please pray especially for Chris Savage this month as he has a very heavy itinerary in his last month of working for Chaplaincy to People at Work, and thank God for all he has done over his many years of work.

Pray for all who have been involved in Christian Aid Week as it comes to an end.  Many Chaplains will have been involved in some way during the week.

Pray for All Saints Church, Hartford, and for Chris as he speaks there today.  There are two volunteer workplace Chaplains from the congregation – Helen Dowzall and Denny Yates – pray also for them.

Pray for the students at Anglia Ruskin University and Cambridge University as they will be completing their assignments and sitting examinations in the next few weeks.

Pray for those students who finish their courses this term, leaving their Universities and looking for work – and about to start a new phase in their lives.

Please pray for all those who are employees in businesses in the Grafton Centre, that their jobs will be safe, and that they will look positively to the future.

Today we remember the work of two Evangelists – John and Charles Wesley.  Pray that Chaplains and Christians in the workplace may follow their example.

Please pray for all involved with the “Celebrating Business Exhibition” that begins at Ely Cathedral today.

Please pray for Greg Reid, Cambridge United Football Club Physiotherapist, as he has a really heavy load at present, with many injuries that will be requiring treatment through the closed season.

Pray that the Easter Son Rise Service

held in the Grafton Centre will continue to be an echo of God with all at the Grafton, both those that work and those that visit.

Please pray for the Associate Chaplains as they meet with Chris Savage today, especially as this will be their last meeting with Chris before he retires.

Chaplaincy to People at Work are hoping to produce a film about the work that they do and are looking for funding for this.  Please pray that this will be forthcoming.

Please pray for those involved in the conference in Norwich entitled “Chaplaincy – good practice in a multi faith society” as it happens today.

Pray for the Ely Group organising the Thanksgiving Service for “Celebrating Business Exhibition” in the Cathedral today.  Also pray for Charlie Mayfield, Chairman of John Lewis, who will give the address tonight.
